How to Draw a Sedan
Draw a sedan in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the car body.
Step 1: The car body
Start low on the left. Draw the nose, bonnet, windscreen, roof and boot. Stop low on the right.
Tip A sedan is 3 boxes: bonnet, cabin, boot.
Step 2: Belly and tyres
Start where you stopped. Draw 2 arches and a flat belly. Stop at the nose. Add tyres, hubs and dots.
Step 3: Headlight eye
On the bonnet near the nose, draw a big round headlight. Add a pupil and 2 white shines.
Step 4: Windows
Start on the windscreen. Draw a line inside the roof and down the back to the start. Add 2 pillars.
Step 5: Smile and bumper
Start under the eye. Draw a short U smile, stop well before the nose. Add a bumper on the nose.
Step 6: Two doors
Start at the bottom of each pillar. Rule a line down to the belly. Add a handle on each door.
Step 7: Tail light and pipe
At the back of the car, draw an oval tail light. Add a short box pipe low down.
Step 8: Road and shine
Rule a road under the tyres, from before the nose to past the pipe. Add a shine in the windscreen.
Step 9: Yellow lights, sky windows
Colour the headlight and tail light yellow. Colour the windows sky blue, leaving the shine white.
Step 10: Pink cheek, grey bits
Colour a pink cheek behind the eye. Colour the hubs around the dots, the bumper, handles and pipe grey.
Step 11: Navy body, black tyres
Colour the body navy, going around the lights, windows, cheek and handles. Colour the tyres black around the hubs.
