How to Draw a Santa Hat
Draw a Santa hat in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: furry brim.
Step 1: Furry brim
Below the middle, draw a long fat band with rounded ends, like a sausage lying down.
Step 2: Floppy cone
Start on the brim near the left. Draw a tall hill flopping right to a point, back to the brim.
Step 3: Pom-pom
On the point of the cone, draw a round, bumpy pom-pom, as big as the brim is tall.
Step 4: Fluffy fur
Draw little bumps along the top and bottom of the brim, like soft fur.
Step 5: Creases
Draw 2 curved crease lines up the cone from the brim, stopping part way up.
Step 6: Holly leaves
On the left of the brim, draw 2 spiky holly leaves in a wide V, meeting in the middle.
Step 7: Holly berries
Where the 2 leaves meet, draw 3 round berries in a little bunch.
Step 8: Snowflakes
Around the hat, draw 3 little snowflakes. Each is 3 short lines crossing in the middle.
Step 9: Green holly
Colour the 2 holly leaves green. Leave the berries for later.
Step 10: Red hat and berries
Colour the hat and the 3 berries red. Leave the brim and pom-pom white.
