How to Draw Salsa
Draw salsa in 13 easy steps, about 10 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the rim.
Step 1: The rim
A little right of the middle of your paper, draw a wide flat oval for the bowl's top.
Step 2: The bowl
Start at the left end of the oval. Draw a big U down and stop at the right end.
Step 3: The foot
Start under the bowl on the left. Draw a short stand down, across and up to the bowl.
Step 4: The salsa
Inside the rim draw a second flat oval, a finger inside it, for the salsa.
Step 5: A chip
Start on the salsa, on the right. Draw a big triangle chip up to a point and back down.
Step 6: Tomato and onion
In the salsa draw a small round tomato chunk on the left, a little diamond onion chunk, and 2 dots.
Step 7: 2 leaves
Draw a little pointed leaf in the salsa on the right and another on the left.
Step 8: 2 stripes
Start on the left of the bowl under the rim. Draw 2 bowed lines round and stop on the right.
Step 9: The table
Draw a long table line under the foot, from one edge of your paper to the other.
Step 10: Another chip
Start on the table left of the bowl. Draw a triangle chip that leans on the bowl's side.
Step 11: Cream bowl, yellow band
Go over your lines. Colour the band yellow, and the bowl, its rim and its foot cream.
Step 12: Tan chips, green leaves
Colour both chips tan and the 2 little leaves green.
Step 13: Red salsa
Colour the salsa and the tomato red, around the chip and the leaves. Leave the onion white.
