How to Draw a Round-Headed Boy
Draw a round-headed boy in 13 easy steps, about 10 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the round head.
Step 1: The round head
Near the top, in the middle, draw a big round head, almost a circle.
Tip Leave most of the page below for the body and legs.
Step 2: The face
Just below the middle, draw 2 big eyes with dots and shines, a small U nose and a smile.
Step 3: C ears
Each side, draw a C ear level with the eyes. Start on the head, curve out, stop on the head.
Step 4: Hair cap
From above the left ear, draw a hair cap over to the right. Add a fringe of 5 soft bumps.
Tip Rub out the head line inside the hair.
Step 5: Neck and T-shirt
Draw 2 short neck lines. From the left one, draw a T-shirt with short sleeves, stopping at the right one.
Step 6: Arms
From each sleeve, draw 2 lines down to the wrist, bending a little at the elbow and getting thinner.
Step 7: Mitten hands
Under each arm, draw a round mitten hand like the end of an egg, with a little thumb pointing in.
Step 8: Shorts
Start at the shirt's bottom left. Draw shorts with a point between the legs, stopping at the bottom right.
Step 9: Legs
Start under the shorts and draw 2 lines for each leg, closer at the ankle. Stop near the bottom.
Step 10: Sneakers and ground
Under each leg, draw a sneaker with the toe pointing out. Draw a long ground line under the shoes.
Step 11: Peach skin, pink cheeks
Colour the face, ears, neck, arms, hands and legs peach, with pink cheeks. Leave the eyes white.
Step 12: Red shirt, blue shorts
Colour the T-shirt and the sneakers red, and the shorts blue.
Step 13: Brown hair
Colour the hair brown. Go over your lines and you're done.
