How to Draw a Lacrosse Helmet
Draw a lacrosse helmet in 13 easy steps, about 10 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the shell.
Step 1: The shell
Draw a big round helmet shell with a flat bottom. On the left, add a point with a dent under it.
Tip The dent is where the face mask goes.
Step 2: Two big eyes
On the side of the shell, draw 2 big round eyes, a finger apart. Add black dots with shines.
Step 3: Smile and cheeks
Under the eyes, draw one wide U smile from eye to eye. Add a small oval cheek at each end.
Step 4: The visor
Start on the forehead. Draw a pointed visor sticking out to the left, back to the point of the shell.
Tip It looks like the brim of a cap.
Step 5: The chin guard
Low on the left, draw a chin guard like the front of a boat. Its bottom is flat.
Step 6: The front bar
Start under the visor. Draw a thick bar curving down and stop on the chin guard.
Tip Draw the bar with 2 lines, like a straw.
Step 7: Three bars across
Draw 3 thick bars across, from the front bar back to the shell. Space them evenly.
Step 8: Air vents
On the top and back of the shell, draw 3 long thin slots that follow the curve.
Step 9: Ground and shadow
Under the helmet, draw a long flat oval shadow. Add a ground line from each end, stopping near the edges.
Step 10: Sparkles
Draw 3 sparkle stars around the helmet, like little plus signs with curvy sides.
Step 11: Yellow visor, pink cheeks
Colour the visor, the chin guard and the sparkles yellow. Colour the cheeks pink.
Step 12: Grey mask and shadow
Colour the mask bars, the vents and the shadow grey. Go over your lines.
Step 13: Red shell
Colour the shell red around the cheeks, vents and bars. Leave the eyes white.
