How to Draw a Robot Shark
Draw a robot shark in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: long body.
Step 1: Long body
Draw a long, fat body. Make the front end flat like a box and the back end thin.
Tip Leave room above and below for the fins, and on the right for the propeller.
Step 2: Box snout
Draw a line straight down the body near the front for the box snout. Add 2 round bolts.
Step 3: Bolt eye
Behind the snout draw a big six-sided bolt. Inside it draw a round eye, a black dot and a shine.
Tip Keep the bolt clear of the snout line.
Step 4: Robot smile
On the snout draw a wide smile like a slice of melon. Draw 3 lines down it for teeth.
Step 5: Top fin
On the back draw a tall fin that leans toward the tail, with a rounded tip.
Step 6: Side fin
Low on the side draw a second fin pointing down and back.
Tip Rub out the body line inside the fin.
Step 7: Propeller tail
At the thin end draw a round hub. Draw one long rounded blade going up and one going down.
Tip The hub covers the thin end of the tail.
Step 8: Belly line
Start on the snout line. Draw a long curve under the side fin and stop at the thin tail end.
Step 9: Air vents
Behind the eye draw 3 short curved lines for air vents, each a little shorter than the last.
Step 10: Yellow and blue
Colour the eye bolt and the 2 small bolts yellow. Colour the belly light blue. Leave the eye white.
Step 11: Grey metal
Colour the snout and the body grey, around the eye bolt. Leave the teeth white.
Step 12: Fins and propeller
Colour both fins and the hub dark grey. Colour the 2 propeller blades red. Go over your lines.
