How to Draw a Robot Chef
Draw a robot chef in 14 easy steps, about 11 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: box head.
Step 1: Box head
On the left of your paper, draw a wide box head with soft round corners.
Tip Leave room above for a tall hat and on the right for the frying pan.
Step 2: Friendly face
Draw 2 round eyes with black dots and shines. From under one eye, draw a U smile to the other.
Step 3: Chef's hat
On the head draw a flat hat band. Above it draw a tall puffy top with 3 big bumps.
Tip The middle bump is the tallest.
Step 4: Body and buttons
Under the head draw a short neck and a big box body. Add 3 round buttons down the middle.
Step 5: Legs and feet
Draw 2 short legs with round feet. Start left of the feet, draw a ground line, stop on the right.
Step 6: Resting arm
From the body's left side draw an arm down to a round elbow, then down to a C gripper.
Tip The gripper is a fat letter C with its opening at the bottom.
Step 7: Cooking arm
On the right, draw an arm down to a round elbow, then up and out to a C gripper.
Tip This arm bends at the elbow, just like yours. Its gripper opens to the right.
Step 8: Handle and rim
From inside the gripper draw a short handle. At its end draw a wide flat oval for the pan's rim.
Step 9: Frying pan
Draw a smaller oval inside. From the rim's left end, draw a smile under it to the right end.
Tip The smile is the deep side of the pan.
Step 10: Flying pancake
Above the pan draw a tilted oval. From its left end, draw a smile under it to its right end.
Tip The smile gives the pancake a thick edge.
Step 11: Whoosh lines
Start beside the pan and draw a curved line up each side, stopping beside the pancake.
Tip These 2 lines show the pancake flying up and turning over.
Step 12: Tan and blue
Colour the pancake and its thick edge tan. Colour the robot's head, body, arms and legs light blue.
Tip Leave the hat and the eyes white.
Step 13: Grey and red
Colour the neck, elbows, grippers, feet and the inside of the pan grey. Colour the 3 buttons red.
Step 14: Dark grey pan
Go over your lines. Colour the rim, the outside and the handle of the pan dark grey.
