How to Draw a Number 5
Draw a number 5 in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the big 5.
Step 1: The big 5
Draw a big fat bubble 5: a flat bar on top, a short stem, and a big round belly.
Tip Bubble numbers are fat and rounded, like balloons.
Step 2: 2 big eyes
On the top bar draw 2 round eyes close together.
Step 3: Black pupils
Colour a big black dot in each eye. Leave a tiny white shine in each dot.
Step 4: A smile
Under the eyes draw a small U smile, from under the left eye to under the right eye.
Step 5: Sparkles on the left
On the left of the 5 draw 2 sparkle stars, one higher and one lower.
Step 6: Sparkles on the right
Draw 2 more sparkle stars on the right to match.
Step 7: The floor
Draw a floor line under the 5 from left to right.
Step 8: A shadow
Draw a flat oval shadow on the floor under the 5. Rub out the floor line inside it.
Step 9: Yellow sparkles, grey shadow
Go over your lines, then colour the sparkles yellow and the shadow grey.
Step 10: Purple number 5
Colour the whole 5 purple, going round the face and leaving the eyes white. Your bubble number 5 is done!
