How to Draw a Rice Cooker
Draw a rice cooker in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the body.
Step 1: The body
Start on the left above the middle. Draw down, round a flat bottom, and back up to the same height.
Step 2: The dome lid
On top of the body draw a dome lid like a hill, a touch wider than the body, flat underneath.
Step 3: Two big eyes
On the body draw 2 big egg eyes. Colour a big black dot in each, leaving a white shine.
Step 4: Smile and cheeks
Under the eyes draw a wide U smile. Add an oval cheek just below and outside each eye.
Step 5: The lid handle
On top of the dome draw a short rounded bar lying down, for the handle.
Step 6: Steam vent
On the dome, to the right of the handle, draw a small rounded vent box.
Step 7: Steam puffs
Start just above the dome over the vent. Wiggle 2 steam lines up, stopping higher than the handle.
Step 8: Button panel
Low on the body draw a small rounded panel with a short line and a tiny round button in it.
Step 9: Ground line
Start near the left edge. Draw a straight ground line along the bottom, stopping near the right edge.
Step 10: Sparkles
Draw 2 fat four-point sparkles beside the lid, with room inside to colour.
Step 11: Pink and yellow
Go over your lines, then colour the cheeks pink and the sparkles yellow.
Step 12: Red handle and panel
Colour the handle, vent and button panel red. Leave the body, lid and eyes white.
