How to Draw a Red Furry Monster
Draw a red furry monster in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: big egg body.
Step 1: Big egg body
In the middle, draw a big egg for the whole monster, narrow at the top and wide at the bottom.
Step 2: Two short horns
On the top corners, draw 2 short pointy horns leaning out. Start and stop each one on the egg.
Step 3: Two big eyes
In the top half, draw 2 big eyes a gap apart. Colour a black dot in each, leaving a shine.
Step 4: Smile and tooth
Start below one eye, draw a wide U smile and stop below the other. Hang 1 square tooth from it.
Step 5: Fur bumps
Draw 3 soft round fur bumps on top between the horns, and 3 on each side by the eyes.
Step 6: Belly patch
Low in the middle of the body, draw a big oval belly patch. Keep it away from the edges.
Step 7: Arms and mittens
Start on each side. Draw a short arm with 2 fur bumps down to a round mitten, then back.
Step 8: Feet and toes
Over the bottom of the body, draw 2 plump feet a gap apart, flat underneath, each with 2 toe lines.
Step 9: The ground
Draw a long straight ground line under both feet, sticking out a hand-width past each side.
Step 10: Pink belly, orange horns
Colour the belly patch pink and the 2 horns orange.
Step 11: Red fur
Go over your lines. Colour the monster red, around the belly patch. Leave the eyes and tooth white.
