How to Draw a Robot Face
Draw a robot face in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: box head.
Step 1: Box head
In the middle, draw a big wide box with softly rounded corners, nearly as wide as the paper.
Step 2: The antenna
From the middle of the head's top, draw a short line straight up and stop at a small round ball.
Step 3: Two big eyes
Above the middle, draw 2 big round eyes a hand apart, with a small shine circle in each.
Step 4: Two ear bolts
On each side of the head, draw a small bolt: a short box sticking out from the head line.
Step 5: Big toothy smile
Under the eyes, draw a flat line, then a big U joining its ends. Add 3 teeth lines inside.
Step 6: Four rivets
In each corner of the head box, draw a small round rivet, a little in from the corner.
Step 7: Forehead panel
Between the antenna and the eyes, draw a small flat box for a panel, with 2 short lines inside.
Step 8: Sparks
Beside the antenna ball, draw 1 slanted spark line on each side. Add a sparkle star near each top corner.
Step 9: Yellow and blue
Go over your lines. Colour the 2 sparkle stars yellow and the forehead panel sky blue.
Step 10: Red ball and rivets
Colour the antenna ball and the 4 rivets red.
Step 11: Grey head, black eyes
Colour the head and bolts grey around the panel, eyes, rivets and mouth. Colour the eyes black around the shines.
Tip Leave the mouth white for shiny teeth.
