How to Draw a Quesadilla
Draw a quesadilla in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: a plate.
Step 1: A plate
Below the middle draw a big flat oval plate, leaving space at both sides. Add a second oval just inside.
Step 2: The half moon
In the middle of the plate draw a big low half moon lying flat, flat side toward you.
Tip Low and wide, like a folded pancake lying on the table.
Step 3: The cheesy edge
Start at the left corner. Draw a soft wavy cheese band under the flat edge, stopping at the right corner.
Tip Round soft waves, no points.
Step 4: Two cuts
From the middle of the flat edge draw 2 lines up to the curved edge, one leaning left, one right.
Step 5: Toasted spots
Draw 5 small soft blotches on the top for toasted spots, spread about and away from the cuts.
Step 6: Steam
Above the quesadilla draw two wiggly steam lines going up.
Step 7: The table
Draw a table line under the plate, out past both sides, just touching its bottom.
Step 8: Sand tortilla
Go over your lines, then colour the top sand around the toasted spots, and the spots brown.
Step 9: Yellow cheese
Colour the wavy band yellow for the melted cheese.
Step 10: Sky plate
Colour the plate sky blue around the quesadilla, and your quesadilla is done!
