How to Draw a Brownie
Draw a brownie in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: top.
Step 1: Top
In the middle of your paper draw a slanted square with soft corners, like a cushion seen from above.
Step 2: Front
From the front left corner draw a short line down, across, and up to the front right corner.
Tip Keep it short, a brownie is flat, not a tall box.
Step 3: Side
From the bottom front right corner draw a short slant up to the right, then up to the back corner.
Step 4: Crackly top
On the top draw 3 short bowed lines here and there, like cracks in the crust.
Step 5: Chocolate chunks
On the front draw 4 small lumpy shapes here and there, some high and some low, for chocolate chunks.
Step 6: Brownie behind
Behind on the left draw a second brownie a little further back, stopping where it meets the front one.
Step 7: Plate
Draw a big flat oval plate behind and under the brownies, lifting your pencil where it would cross them.
Step 8: Crumbs
Draw 3 tiny lumpy crumbs on the plate, far apart.
Step 9: Table
Draw a line under the plate from left to right, just touching its bottom.
Step 10: Sky plate
Go over your lines, then colour the plate sky blue, around the brownies and crumbs.
Step 11: Brown brownies
Colour both brownies brown all over, around the chunks, and colour the crumbs brown too.
Step 12: Black chunks
Colour the chocolate chunks black.

Your finished drawing
