How to Draw a Printer
Draw a printer in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the printer box.
Step 1: The printer box
Below the middle of your paper draw a wide box with soft corners, twice as wide as it is tall.
Step 2: Paper going in
On top of the box draw a sheet of paper standing up, about half as wide as the box.
Step 3: A happy face
In the top half of the box draw 2 big round eyes with black dots. Add a wide U smile.
Step 4: Paper coming out
Below the smile draw a long thin slot. From it, draw a sheet sliding down, wider at the bottom.
Step 5: Printed lines
On the sheet coming out draw 3 short lines across, one under the other. Make the last one shorter.
Step 6: Two buttons
In the top-right corner of the box draw 2 small circles side by side for the buttons.
Step 7: Rosy cheeks
Draw a small oval cheek out beside each end of the smile.
Step 8: The ground
Draw a ground line under the printer, starting past its left side and stopping past its right side.
Step 9: Cream paper, peach cheeks
Colour both sheets of paper cream and the cheeks peach.
Step 10: Stone printer
Colour the box stone grey around the paper, cheeks and buttons. Colour the slot black. Leave the eyes white.
Step 11: Green and red buttons
Colour the left button green and the right button red. Go over all your lines and your printer is done!

Your finished drawing
Follow the steps above and this is where you end up: a printer, drawn by you.
