How to Draw a Pool Float
Draw a pool float in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the ring.
Step 1: The ring
A little above the middle of your paper draw a big round ring, a little wider than it is tall.
Step 2: The hole
In the top half of the ring draw a squashed oval for the hole, a little above the middle.
Step 3: Two big eyes
Under the hole draw 2 big egg eyes, one eye apart. Big black dot and a white shine in each.
Step 4: Smile and cheeks
Under the eyes draw a wide U smile. Add a small flat oval cheek at each end of the smile.
Step 5: Side stripes
On the left draw 2 lines from the ring's outer edge in to the hole. Same on the right.
Step 6: Top stripe
On top of the ring draw 2 more lines from the outside edge in to the hole.
Step 7: Shine
Just inside the ring at the top left draw a short curved line following the ring, for the shine.
Step 8: Water
From low on each side of the ring, draw a wavy line to the edge. Add a long one below.
Step 9: Sparkles
High up on each side of the float, draw a little sparkle star that does not touch the ring.
Step 10: Yellow sparkles
Colour the 2 sparkles yellow.
Step 11: Blue water, pink cheeks
Colour the water under the wavy line blue, up to the float, and the cheeks pink.
Step 12: Red float
Go over your lines. Colour the ring red around the cheeks, leaving stripes and eyes white. Ready for a swim!
