How to Draw a Pomeranian

13 steps · Medium · about 10 min

Draw a pomeranian in 13 easy steps, about 10 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.

Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: fluffy head.

Print

  1. Step 1: Fluffy head

Near the top, draw a big fluffy head, all little fur bumps like a cloud, a bit wider than tall.

Tip The bumps ARE the head: no circle inside.

  2. Step 2: Tiny fox ears

On the top corners, draw 2 tiny pointy ears poking up from the fur, with a small triangle inside each.

Tip The ears are tiny: they almost get lost in the fluff.

  3. Step 3: Two big eyes

Above the middle, draw 2 big round eyes, 1 eye apart, with a black dot and white shine in each.

  4. Step 4: Snout and nose

Below the eyes draw a small sideways oval for the snout, with a little black nose on its top edge.

  5. Step 5: Smile and tongue

From the nose, draw a line down and a smile out each way, stopping a finger away. Add a tongue.

Tip The tongue pokes out of the middle of the smile.

  6. Step 6: Fluffy collar

Under the chin draw a big fluffy collar: fur bumps in a wide U, from cheek round to cheek.

Tip This collar is the biggest puff of all.

  7. Step 7: The body

From each side of the collar, draw a big C out and down. Join them with a saggy line underneath.

  8. Step 8: Front legs

From under the collar, draw a leg that narrows down to a round paw, then back up. One each side.

Tip Add 2 short toe lines on each paw.

  9. Step 9: Back paws

At each bottom corner of the body, draw a round hill for a back paw, with 2 short toe lines.

  10. Step 10: Plume tail

From behind the right hip, draw a fat fluffy tail curling up and in. Give its outside fur bumps.

Tip It starts behind the body, so no line closes it off.

  11. Step 11: The ground

Rule a ground line from far left to far right, under all 4 paws.

  12. Step 12: Cream and pink

Colour the snout and the fluffy collar cream. Colour the tongue pink.

  13. Step 13: Ginger fur

Colour the head, ears, body, legs, paws and tail ginger, around the cream. Leave the eyes white.
