How to Draw a Pogo Stick

10 steps · Medium · about 8 min

Draw a pogo stick in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.

Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: handlebar.

Print

  1. Step 1: Handlebar

Near the top of the paper, draw a short flat bar with rounded ends.

Tip Leave lots of paper below: the pogo stick is tall.

  2. Step 2: Round grips

Add a fat round grip on each end of the bar.

  3. Step 3: The long pole

Start under the bar. Draw 2 straight lines down, a finger apart, almost to the bottom. Join them.

  4. Step 4: Foot pegs

Low on the pole, draw a flat bar across, as long as the handlebar, for the foot pegs.

Tip The pegs stick out the same on each side.

  5. Step 5: The spring

Start under the pegs. Draw a loopy line around and around the pole, 5 loops, and stop near the bottom.

Tip Rub out the top of each loop where it goes behind the pole.

  6. Step 6: Rubber foot

At the bottom of the pole, draw a small rounded block, a little wider than the pole.

  7. Step 7: Ground line

Draw a straight ground line along the bottom of the foot, a bit wider than the handlebar.

  8. Step 8: Yellow pegs

Go over your lines, then colour the foot pegs yellow.

  9. Step 9: Grey foot

    Colour the rubber foot grey.

  10. Step 10: Red pole and handlebar

Colour the pole, the handlebar and both grips red.
