How to Draw a Plus Shape
Draw a plus shape in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the big plus.
Step 1: The big plus
In the middle of your paper draw one big fat plus sign. Make both arms the same width.
Tip Make it big and neat: the plus is the whole drawing.
Step 2: Two big eyes
Where the bars cross draw 2 big egg eyes side by side. Colour a black dot in each.
Step 3: A big smile
Under the eyes draw a big wide U smile, from under the left eye to the right eye.
Step 4: Rosy cheeks
Draw a small sideways oval under the outside of each eye for rosy cheeks.
Step 5: A shine
In the top arm draw one short curved shine line.
Step 6: Sparkles on the left
On the left of the plus draw 2 sparkle stars, one higher and one lower.
Step 7: Sparkles on the right
Draw 2 more sparkle stars on the right to match.
Step 8: The floor
Draw a floor line under the plus, touching its bottom, from well left to well right.
Step 9: Pink cheeks
Colour the 2 cheeks rosy pink.
Step 10: Yellow sparkles
Colour the 4 sparkles yellow.
Step 11: Green plus sign
Colour the whole plus green, going around the eyes and cheeks. Leave the eyes white. Your plus is done!
