How to Draw a Playhouse
Draw a playhouse in 13 easy steps, about 10 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the platform.
Step 1: The platform
A little below the middle of your paper, draw a long flat box on the left half of the page.
Step 2: Two legs
Under the platform, a little in from each end, draw 2 thick legs down to the ground.
Step 3: The little house
Start on the platform near the left end. Draw walls up, across, and down to the platform. Add a roof.
Step 4: Door and windows
In the middle of the wall, draw a little door with a rounded top. Add a round window each side.
Step 5: Slide and ball
From the platform's right end, draw a slide curving flat onto the ground, and back. Put a ball under it.
Step 6: The ladder
On the left, draw 2 slanting lines from the ground up to the platform. Add 3 short rungs across.
Step 7: A flag
Start at the roof's point and draw a short pole straight up, stopping at a little triangle flag.
Step 8: Grassy ground
Draw a ground line from edge to edge under the legs and slide. Add 2 tufts of 3 grass blades.
Step 9: The sun
Draw a round sun with 8 short rays in the top right.
Step 10: A cloud
Draw a puffy cloud under the sun, right of the roof: bumps on top and flatter bumps underneath.
Step 11: Yellow house, red roof
Colour the walls, ball and sun yellow, going around the door and windows. Colour the roof and flag red.
Step 12: Wooden platform
Colour the platform, the legs and the door wood brown.
Step 13: Blue slide, sky windows
Colour the slide blue and the windows sky blue. Go over all your lines and your playhouse is done!
