How to Draw a Pizza Box
Draw a pizza box in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the lid.
Step 1: The lid
Below the middle draw a long line. Draw a same-size line higher and to the right, then join the ends.
Tip The 2 slanted sides lean the same way, so the lid looks flat.
Step 2: Front edge
Under the bottom line of the lid draw a thin strip, as long as the lid, for the front.
Step 3: Side edge
Along the right slanted side draw a thin slanted strip, just as thick as the front.
Tip A pizza box is thin, so keep both strips skinny.
Step 4: Pizza picture
In the middle of the lid draw a big flat oval for a pizza picture.
Step 5: The crust
Inside the oval draw a smaller oval all the way round, leaving a thin ring for the crust.
Step 6: Pepperoni
Inside the crust draw 4 small round pepperoni, spread out, 2 higher up and 2 lower down.
Step 7: Hot steam
Start on the back edge of the lid. Draw 3 soft wavy steam lines up, and stop in the air.
Step 8: Table and shadow
Draw a table line under the box, a little longer than it. Add a flat oval shadow under the box.
Step 9: Yellow pizza
Go over your lines. Colour the pizza inside the crust yellow, around the 4 pepperoni.
Step 10: Tan box
Colour the lid, the front and the side tan, around the pizza picture.
Step 11: Crust and pepperoni
Colour the crust ring orange and the 4 pepperoni red.
Step 12: Grey shadow
Colour the shadow grey. Your hot pizza box is ready!
