How to Draw a Pirate Cat
Draw a pirate cat in 13 easy steps, about 10 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: cat head.
Step 1: Cat head
Near the top, draw a big wide head like a soft bun.
Tip The head is nearly half of the whole cat.
Step 2: Pointy ears
Draw a tall pointy ear on each top corner of the head. Add a small triangle inside each one.
Step 3: Eye and eye patch
Draw 1 big oval eye with a black dot. Draw a patch for the other eye and a strap across.
Tip The strap goes right across, but not through the patch.
Step 4: Nose and smile
Under the eye and patch, draw a small triangle nose. From its point, draw a W smile.
Step 5: Bandana
Start on the left edge. Draw a curved line across to the right. Add a knot and 2 tails.
Tip The top of the head is now a bandana.
Step 6: Body sides
Start under each cheek. Draw a line curving out and down to the ground on each side.
Step 7: Front legs
Start under the chin. Draw 2 legs down to round paws and back up. Add 2 toes on each.
Step 8: Back paws
Beside each front paw, draw a small bun paw tucked behind it. Add 2 toes on each.
Step 9: Curly tail
On the right, draw a thick tail along the ground that curls up to a round tip.
Step 10: Whiskers and ground
From each cheek, draw 2 whiskers out past the head. Draw a ground line under the cat.
Step 11: Cream and pink
Colour the chest between the front legs cream. Colour the nose and inside each ear pink.
Step 12: Ginger fur
Colour the face, ears, body, legs and tail ginger. Leave the eye and the patch white.
Step 13: Red and black
Colour the bandana, its knot and tails red. Colour the eye patch black. Your pirate cat is done!
