How to Draw a Pile of Clothes
Draw a pile of clothes in 13 easy steps, about 10 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: folded jeans.
Step 1: Folded jeans
At the bottom, draw a long flat shape with round ends, like a squashed pillow.
Tip Make it wide: it holds up the whole pile.
Step 2: A folded towel
On top of the jeans, draw another flat shape with round ends, a little shorter.
Step 3: A folded jumper
Stack a third flat shape on top. Make this one a bit longer than the towel.
Tip Let each one squash down a tiny bit into the one below.
Step 4: A folded T-shirt
Put the last flat shape on top. It is the shortest one.
Step 5: The collar
On the T-shirt's top edge, draw a deep U. Draw a smaller U inside from the same 2 ends.
Tip Both U shapes start and stop on the top edge.
Step 6: A hanging sleeve
On the left, draw a sleeve hanging down from the middle of the jumper. Add a line for the cuff.
Tip The sleeve hangs in front of the towel and the jeans.
Step 7: A sock
On the right, draw a sock hanging over the top of the T-shirt. Add a line across it.
Tip A sock is a tall L shape with round corners.
Step 8: Fold lines
Start at the right end of the jumper and the towel. Draw a line left and stop at the sleeve.
Tip A fold line shows where the cloth is folded in half.
Step 9: Jeans fold
Draw a line along the middle of the jeans, from end to end. Add 5 little dashes below it.
Tip The dashes are the stitches on the jeans.
Step 10: The floor
Draw a straight floor line under the pile, from the left of the page to the right.
Step 11: Yellow and pink
Colour the sock and the collar yellow. Colour the jumper and its sleeve pink.
Step 12: Green and red
Colour the towel green. Colour the T-shirt red, around the yellow collar and sock.
Step 13: Blue jeans
Go over your lines and colour the jeans blue. Your pile of clothes is done!
