How to Draw a Piggy Bank
Draw a piggy bank in 13 easy steps, about 10 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: round body.
Step 1: Round body
In the middle of your paper draw one big round body, a little wider than tall, like a fat ball.
Step 2: The snout
A little below the middle draw a wide oval snout with 2 small upright ovals inside for nostrils.
Step 3: Two big eyes
Above the snout draw 2 big egg eyes, one each side. Colour a big black dot in each.
Step 4: Smile and cheeks
Under the snout draw a small U smile, and a flat oval cheek on each side of the snout.
Step 5: Two ears
On each top corner draw a soft rounded ear leaning out. Start on the body, curve up and back down.
Step 6: Slot and coin
Near the top draw a thin slot. From it draw a half coin with a ring, down to the slot.
Tip The coin is half pushed in, so only its top shows.
Step 7: Two legs
Under the body draw 2 stubby legs, one each side: down, across a flat bottom, back up.
Step 8: Curly tail
Start on the body's right side. Draw a short line out, then curl it round, ending in the middle.
Step 9: Ground line
Draw a ground line under the feet from well left to well right.
Step 10: Sparkles
Draw a sparkle star up on each side of the piggy bank.
Step 11: Yellow coin and sparkles
Go over your lines, then colour the coin and the sparkles yellow.
Step 12: Peach snout and cheeks
Colour the snout and the cheeks peach, with black nostrils.
Step 13: Pink pig
Colour the body, ears and legs pink around the coin, snout and cheeks, leaving the eyes white.
