How to Draw a Pig with Piglets
Draw a pig with piglets in 14 easy steps, about 11 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: mum's big head.
Step 1: Mum's big head
Near the top left draw a big round head with soft cheeks.
Tip Leave room under it for a piglet, and room on the right for her body.
Step 2: Pointed ears
On each top corner of the head draw a pointed ear leaning out.
Step 3: Mum's eyes
High on the head, a little to the left, draw 2 oval eyes with big black dots.
Tip Leave a tiny white shine in each eye.
Step 4: Snout and smile
Well below the eyes draw an oval snout with 2 nostrils. Draw a smile under it.
Tip Keep a gap between the eyes and the snout.
Step 5: Round back
Rule the ground. Start on the head, draw a long back and curve down her bottom, then stop.
Tip Her bottom slopes. The line ends above the ground.
Step 6: Two piglet heads
Low down draw 2 small round heads: one under mum's chin, one further right. Add 2 pointed ears each.
Tip Each small head sits just above the ground.
Step 7: Piglet faces
Give each piglet 2 black dot eyes up high and a small oval snout with 2 dots lower down.
Step 8: Piglet bodies
From each small head draw a round back, a back leg, a tummy, a front leg and a little chest.
Tip The front leg stands behind the cheek, not under the chin.
Step 9: Legs and tails
Give each piglet 2 more legs peeking out under its tummy and a curly tail on its bottom.
Step 10: Mum's legs
From under mum's cheek draw her chest, a front leg, her tummy and a back leg up to her bottom.
Tip Her tummy and back leg go behind the piglet. Draw a line across each hoof.
Step 11: Far leg and tail
Beside mum's front leg draw another leg peeking out. Add a curly tail on her bottom.
Step 12: Peach piglets
Colour both piglets a light peach pink, all over.
Step 13: Pink mum
Colour mum a darker pink, around the piglets. Stop at her hoof lines and leave her eyes white.
Step 14: Brown hooves
Colour mum's hooves brown. Your pig family is done!
