How to Draw a Pickleball Paddle
Draw a pickleball paddle in 14 easy steps, about 11 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the paddle.
Step 1: The paddle
Left of the middle, draw a big box with round corners, a little taller than it is wide.
Tip A pickleball paddle is squarer than a ping-pong bat, so keep the sides straight.
Step 2: The edge guard
Inside it draw a second round-cornered box a finger in, all the way round, for the thick edge.
Step 3: Two big eyes
On the paddle face draw 2 big round eyes a finger apart, each with a dot and a shine.
Step 4: Smile and cheeks
Under the eyes draw one small U smile. Add a small oval cheek on each side.
Step 5: The handle
From the middle of the bottom edge, draw a short thick handle straight down with a flat end.
Step 6: The end cap
Under the handle draw a small cap with round corners, a little wider than the handle.
Step 7: Grip wraps
Draw 3 slanted lines across the handle, from edge to edge, for the grip tape.
Step 8: The ball
To the right of the handle, draw a round ball with its bottom level with the bottom of the cap.
Step 9: Ball holes
Draw 7 small dark dots on the ball, in rows of 2, then 3, then 2.
Step 10: The ground
Start left of the paddle. Draw one long flat line under the cap and the ball, stopping past the ball.
Step 11: Yellow ball, pink cheeks
Colour the ball yellow around the holes, and the cheeks pink.
Step 12: Green paddle face
Colour the paddle face green, around the eyes and cheeks. Leave the eyes white.
Step 13: Blue edge guard
Colour the thick edge blue, all the way round the green face.
Step 14: Grey grip
Colour the handle and the cap dark grey. Your paddle is done!
