How to Draw a Phone Charging
Draw a phone charging in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the phone.
Step 1: The phone
In the middle of your paper draw a tall rectangle with very round corners, twice as tall as wide.
Tip Round the corners like a thumb.
Step 2: Screen and buttons
Draw a rounded screen inside the phone. Add a black speaker slot and camera dot above it, a button below.
Step 3: Two big eyes
In the upper part of the screen draw 2 big oval eyes. Add a black dot with a shine.
Step 4: Smile and cheeks
Below the eyes draw a wide U smile from eye to eye. Add a small flat cheek beside each end.
Step 5: The battery sign
In the lower part of the screen draw a small wide rounded box with a tiny box on its right.
Step 6: Lightning bolt
Inside the battery sign draw a small zigzag lightning bolt.
Tip The bolt means it is charging!
Step 7: The cable
Start at the phone's bottom right corner, draw a cable dipping low, and stop a little higher on the right.
Step 8: The charger brick
At the cable's end draw a small soft box, its bottom level with the phone's, with 2 prongs on top.
Step 9: The ground
Draw a ground line across the paper under the phone and brick.
Step 10: Pink cheeks, yellow bolt
Colour the cheeks pink and the lightning bolt yellow.
Step 11: Sky screen, green battery
Colour the battery green around the bolt, the screen sky blue around the battery and cheeks. Leave the eyes white.
Step 12: Grey brick, navy frame
Colour the brick and prongs grey, the frame navy around the screen, speaker and camera. Your phone is charging!
