How to Draw the Petronas Towers
Draw the Petronas Towers in 13 easy steps, about 10 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the left tower.
Step 1: The left tower
On the left half draw a tall tower of 3 stacked boxes, each narrower than the last, pointed on top.
Step 2: The twin tower
On the right half draw the very same tower again, the same height, leaving a gap between them.
Step 3: Spires and balls
Start at the point of each tower and draw a spire up. Stop at a tiny ball on the tip.
Step 4: The sky bridge
Below the middle draw a flat box joining the towers. From under it draw 2 slanting legs down to them.
Step 5: Left tower windows
Down the middle of the left tower draw 5 little standing windows, evenly spaced, leaving room for a door.
Step 6: Right tower windows
Do the same down the right tower: 5 little standing windows.
Step 7: Band lines
Draw short lines across the lower part of each tower between the windows, 3 on each.
Step 8: Doors and ground
Draw a door at each tower's foot. From the left edge draw the ground line across to the right edge.
Step 9: Trees and a cloud
From each end of the ground draw a trunk up to a bumpy treetop. Add a cloud top left.
Step 10: Grey towers
Colour both towers and the bridge between them grey like steel, going round the windows and doors.
Step 11: Sky windows
Colour every window sky blue.
Step 12: Dark doors
Colour the 2 doors dark grey.
Step 13: Green trees, white cloud
Colour the tree tops green and the trunks brown. Leave the cloud white and go over your lines. Done!
