How to Draw a People Arguing
Draw a people arguing in 14 easy steps, about 11 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: two heads.
Step 1: Two heads
Draw 2 egg heads side by side with a wide gap between them, narrower at the chin.
Tip Leave the gap: a lightning bolt goes there.
Step 2: The left face
On the left head draw 2 round eyes with dots looking right, 2 slanted eyebrows and an open mouth.
Tip The eyebrows slope down toward the middle. That makes a cross face.
Step 3: The right face
On the right head draw the same cross face, with the dots looking left.
Step 4: Long hair, short hair
Give the left head long hair down to the shoulders. Give the right head short hair with soft bumps.
Step 5: Necks and T-shirts
Under each chin draw a short neck, then a T-shirt with short sleeves and a flat hem.
Step 6: Arms on hips
Start at each sleeve. Draw the arm out to a bent elbow, then back in, and stop at the hip.
Tip All 4 arms make the same shape, with the elbow sticking out.
Step 7: Fists
On each wrist draw a round fist resting on the hip, with a little thumb bump.
Step 8: Trousers
Start at each T-shirt's bottom corner. Draw long trousers down to the ankles and stop at the other corner.
Step 9: Shoes and ground
Under each leg draw a shoe with the toe pointing out. Draw one ground line under all 4 shoes.
Step 10: Lightning bolt
Between the 2 heads draw a zigzag lightning bolt, pointed at both ends.
Tip The bolt shows they are arguing.
Step 11: Peach skin
Colour both faces, necks, arms and fists peach. Leave the eyes white.
Step 12: Yellow bolt, orange hair
Colour the lightning bolt yellow and the short hair orange.
Step 13: Red shirt, green shirt
Colour the left T-shirt red and the right T-shirt green.
Step 14: Blue trousers, brown hair
Colour both pairs of trousers blue. Colour the long hair and all 4 shoes brown. Go over your lines.
