How to Draw a Passion Fruit Vine
Draw a passion fruit vine in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the vine.
Step 1: The vine
Start on the left, near the top. Draw a winding vine across to the right side.
Step 2: 3 fruits
Under the vine draw 3 round fruits hanging down, each as big as a plum, on short stalks.
Step 3: Star flower
Below the vine, left of the middle, draw a big star flower: 10 long pointed petals round a middle point.
Step 4: The crown ring
In the middle of the star draw a coin-sized circle, and a small knob in the very middle.
Step 5: Threads
Between the knob and the ring draw 12 short lines pointing out, like the spokes of a wheel.
Step 6: Flower stalk
Draw a stalk of 2 lines from the vine down to the top of the flower, tucked behind the petals.
Step 7: Soft leaves
Draw 3 soft leaves with 3 round lobes each, like mittens: one left, one right, one above the vine.
Step 8: Tendrils
From the vine draw 2 tendrils up, one on each side, each curling round and in like a spring.
Step 9: White petals, purple crown
Go over your lines, then colour the petals white, the crown ring purple and the knob cream.
Step 10: Purple fruit
Colour the 3 round fruits purple too.
Step 11: Green vine and leaves
Colour the leaves light green and the vine and stalks dark green, and your passion fruit vine is done!
