How to Draw a Party Emoji
Draw a party emoji in 13 easy steps, about 10 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the face.
Step 1: The face
In the middle draw one big round face, nearly as big as the page, leaving a little room above.
Step 2: Two eyes
Above the middle draw 2 tall oval eyes, a gap apart. Colour them black, leaving a white shine in each.
Step 3: The big smile
Below the eyes draw a huge U smile, left to right. Join the 2 ends with a straight line.
Step 4: Teeth
Just under the straight line draw a gentle curve from corner to corner, for the bottom of the teeth.
Step 5: Party hat
Draw a triangle party hat on the top right of the head, corners on the head line. Add a pompom.
Tip A party hat and a horn: this emoji is celebrating!
Step 6: Hat stripes
Draw 2 slanted lines across the hat, from one edge to the other, for stripes.
Step 7: Party horn
From inside the mouth draw a thin horn getting wider down to the right. Add an oval end.
Step 8: Toot lines and stripes
From the fat end of the horn draw 3 short toot lines fanning out. Add 2 stripes across the horn.
Step 9: Confetti
Around the face draw confetti: 2 little dots and 2 little squares, floating in the air.
Step 10: Shine
Near the top left of the face draw a small tilted oval for a shine.
Step 11: Colour it yellow
Colour the face yellow, around the eyes, mouth, horn and hat. Leave the shine white.
Step 12: Pink horn
Colour the horn and the 2 confetti dots pink.
Step 13: Red mouth, blue hat
Colour the mouth red, leaving the teeth white. Colour the hat blue, and the pompom and squares red.
