How to Draw a Panther Face
Draw a panther face in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: big wide head.
Step 1: Big wide head
Draw a big wide head that fills most of the page, with a soft flat top and round cheeks.
Step 2: Two low ears
Start on each top corner of the head. Draw a low round bump for an ear, back to the head.
Tip Keep the ears low and wide. Tall pointy ears make a house cat.
Step 3: Two big eyes
Across the middle, draw 2 big oval eyes. Add a tall black oval and a shine in each.
Step 4: Inside the ears
Inside each ear, start on the head line. Draw a small round arch and stop back on the head line.
Step 5: Muzzle
Under the eyes, draw a wide muzzle like a soft bun, a little wider at the top.
Step 6: Nose and smile
Draw a wide triangle nose on top of the muzzle and colour it black. Add a W smile under it.
Step 7: Whisker dots
Dot 3 little whisker spots on each side of the muzzle.
Step 8: Long whiskers
Start on each side of the muzzle. Draw 3 whiskers fanning out, stopping before the edge of the head.
Tip Whiskers stay inside the face.
Step 9: Yellow eyes
Colour the eyes yellow around the black ovals. Leave the shines white.
Step 10: Grey muzzle and ears
Colour the muzzle light grey around the black nose. Colour the ear insides dark grey.
Step 11: Colour the fur black
Colour the head and ears black, around the eyes, muzzle and ear insides. Press softly so your lines show.
