How to Draw a Panda Face

7 steps · Medium · about 5 min

Draw a panda face in 7 easy steps, about 5 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.

Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: big head.

Print

  1. Step 1: Big head

Draw a big egg lying on its side, wider than tall, so big it fills most of the page.

  2. Step 2: 2 big round ears

Start top left on the head. Draw a big round cookie ear, back to the head. Same on the right.

Tip Panda ears stick out to the sides, not up.

  3. Step 3: Eye patches and eyes

Halfway down the head, draw 2 big egg patches sloping down and out. Draw a round eye in each.

Tip The patches are the most panda thing of all: big and slanted.

  4. Step 4: Nose and smile

Draw a black nose between the patches. From it draw a line down, then a smile up to each cheek.

  5. Step 5: Cheeks and tongue

Draw an oval on each cheek, under the patch. From the smile, hang a tiny U tongue back to it.

  6. Step 6: Pink cheeks and tongue

Colour the 2 cheek ovals and the tongue pink. Leave the face white.

  7. Step 7: Black ears and patches

Colour the ears and the eye patches black, going around the eyes. Leave the eyes white.
