How to Draw an Angel Shark
Draw an angel shark in 13 easy steps, about 10 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: head and front fins.
Step 1: Head and front fins
From the top middle, draw a wide head, a notch and a big round fin. Stop below the notch. Mirror.
Tip A flat shark seen from above: the head and front fins make one wide shape.
Step 2: Two big eyes
On top of the head, draw 2 big round eyes a gap apart, with a black dot in each.
Step 3: Smile and cheeks
Start under the left eye. Draw a wide U smile across to the right eye. Add 2 cheeks.
Step 4: Two small fins
From each front fin's end, draw a small wide fin going out and back. Stop where the tail will start.
Step 5: Long tail
From each small fin's end, draw a long line down, the 2 lines getting closer. Stop above the bottom.
Step 6: Fins on the tail
Down the middle of the tail, draw 2 little rounded triangle fins, points at the bottom, the second smaller.
Step 7: Tail fin
From the end of the tail, sweep out to a point and back in to the middle. Mirror.
Step 8: Spots
On each big fin, draw 3 little round spots, and 1 on each small fin.
Step 9: Bubbles
Beside the head, draw 3 little bubbles going up, the biggest at the bottom.
Step 10: Blue bubbles, pink cheeks
Colour the 3 bubbles light blue and the 2 cheeks pink.
Step 11: Cream sea floor
Colour the sandy sea floor pale cream all around the shark and the bubbles, right to the edges.
Step 12: Tan shark
Colour the whole shark tan around the eyes, cheeks and spots. Leave the eyes white.
Step 13: Brown spots
Colour every spot brown. Go over your lines and you're done!
