How to Draw a Paddleboard
Draw a paddleboard in 13 easy steps, about 10 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the head.
Step 1: The head
Near the top of your paper draw an egg for the head, a little narrower at the chin.
Step 2: The face
Draw 2 small eyes with black dots, a tiny U nose, a smile, 2 eyebrows and 2 oval cheeks.
Step 3: Shaggy hair
Start on the left of the head. Draw round tufts over the top, down to the right. Add a hairline.
Step 4: Neck and vest
Draw 2 neck lines. From the left one draw a vest down to the waist, back to the right one.
Step 5: Arms and fists
Draw 2 bent arms, left down to the tummy, right up to the chin, each ending in a round fist.
Step 6: The paddle
Through both fists draw a long stick from the right shoulder down past the knees, ending in a spoon blade.
Step 7: Board shorts
Start at the vest's bottom left corner. Draw shorts down and back up to the right corner. Add leg stripes.
Step 8: Legs apart
From each shorts leg draw 2 lines down and a little out, stopping above the bottom. Feet wide apart!
Step 9: Feet and board
Under each leg draw a bare foot, toes out. Under both feet draw a long board, pointed at the right.
Step 10: Water
From the left edge draw a wavy water line behind the board to the right edge. Add 2 ripples below.
Step 11: Peach and pink
Colour the skin peach around the cheeks, then the cheeks pink. Leave the eyes white.
Step 12: Yellow and orange
Colour the hair and the whole paddle yellow, and the shorts orange.
Step 13: Teal and blue
Colour the board teal, then the vest and water blue, around the board and paddle. Go over your lines. Done!
