How to Draw an Otter Face

10 steps · Medium · about 8 min

Draw an otter face in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.

Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: wide head.

Print

  1. Step 1: Wide head

Draw a big wide head filling most of the page, like a fat bean on its side with fat cheeks.

  2. Step 2: Small round ears

Halfway down each side of the head, draw a small half-circle ear poking out.

  3. Step 3: Muzzle and nose

Draw a wide flat oval muzzle low on the face. Add a rounded triangle nose on top, filled in black.

  4. Step 4: Big eyes

Above the muzzle, draw 2 big round eyes, each with a black pupil and a little white shine.

  5. Step 5: W smile

Start at the tip of the nose. Draw a short line down to a w smile. Stop inside the muzzle.

  6. Step 6: Whiskers

Draw 2 short whiskers on each side, from the edge of the muzzle out toward the cheek.

  7. Step 7: Whisker dots

Inside the muzzle, on each side of the nose, dot 3 little whisker dots in a curve.

  8. Step 8: Rosy cheeks

Draw a little pink oval blush on each cheek, beside the muzzle.

  9. Step 9: Cream muzzle

Colour the muzzle cream, leaving the black nose.

  10. Step 10: Brown fur

Colour the head and ears brown around the muzzle and cheeks. Leave the eyes white.
