How to Draw a Bald Eagle Head
Draw a bald eagle head in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the head.
Step 1: The head
In the upper right, draw a big head with a full cheek and flat top. Leave room for the beak.
Step 2: Huge hooked beak
Start high on the front of the head. Draw a huge beak to a sharp hook, back to the chin.
Step 3: Big eye
Behind the beak, draw 1 big round eye. Colour a big black dot, leaving a white shine.
Step 4: Little brow
Just above the eye, draw 1 short curved brow line, like a little rainbow.
Step 5: Nostril
On top of the beak, near where it curves down, draw a tiny flat oval.
Step 6: Beak line
Start just behind the hook. Draw a gently smiling line back along the beak to the face.
Step 7: Shoulders
Start low on the left. Draw 1 big wide dome behind the head, down to the right. Close the bottom.
Step 8: Feather edge
Start on the left side of the dome. Draw a row of 6 soft bumps across to the right side.
Step 9: Yellow beak and eye
Colour the huge beak yellow, and a yellow ring round the eye.
Step 10: White head, brown shoulders
Leave the head and the neck above the bumps white. Colour the shoulders below the bumps brown.
