How to Draw a Skunk
Draw a skunk in 13 easy steps, about 10 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: big soft head.
Step 1: Big soft head
Near the top, draw a big egg head with round cheeks. Leave room on the right for a tail.
Tip The head is more than half of the whole skunk.
Step 2: Forehead stripe
In the middle of the face, draw a tall thin stripe up the forehead, a little wider at the top.
Step 3: Big eyes
On each side of the stripe, below the middle, draw a big egg eye with a black dot and shine.
Step 4: Round ears
On each top corner, draw a small round hill ear. Draw a smaller curve inside it.
Step 5: Muzzle, nose and smile
Under the eyes, draw a wide oval muzzle. Add a black heart nose on top and a little W smile.
Step 6: Round body
Start on the left cheek. Draw a big C down and round the bottom, up to the right cheek.
Step 7: Front legs
Low on the body, draw 2 short legs that narrow into fat mitten paws, nearly touching. Add toe lines.
Step 8: Back legs peeking out
Beside each front paw, draw a fat bun back paw with a plump C leg down to it. Add ground.
Step 9: Huge fluffy tail
From the body's right side, draw a huge bumpy tail up behind the head and down to the paw.
Step 10: Tail stripe
Inside the tail, draw a fat stripe following its curve, from low near the body up to near the top.
Step 11: Fluffy cheeks
On each cheek, below the eye, start on the head line. Draw 3 soft fur bumps down to the body.
Step 12: White and cream
Leave the stripes and eyes white. Colour the muzzle and the inside of each ear cream.
Step 13: Dark grey fur
Colour the head, ears, body, legs and tail dark grey, around the white and cream parts.
