How to Draw an OK Hand

10 steps · Medium · about 8 min

Draw an OK hand in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.

Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the palm.

Print

  1. Step 1: The palm

In the middle draw a big fat egg with a flat top for the palm.

Tip Leave room above for fingers and left for the O.

  2. Step 2: The middle finger

Start on the palm top, left of the middle. Draw a tall finger that gets thinner, back to the palm.

  3. Step 3: 2 more fingers

To the right draw a shorter finger, then the shortest. Start and stop each one on the palm line.

  4. Step 4: Curled pointing finger

Start on the palm at the top left. Draw a finger curling over like a rainbow, back to the palm.

Tip The curl is the top of the O.

  5. Step 5: The thumb

Start low on the palm's left. Draw a fat thumb up to the fingertip, then curve down round its base.

Tip The 2 tips touch and leave a round O of paper inside.

  6. Step 6: Wrist lines

Start under the palm. Draw 2 short wrist lines down, and stop at the same height.

  7. Step 7: Soft cuff

Where the wrist lines stop, draw a soft rounded cuff round the wrist. Add a line across near the top.

  8. Step 8: Knuckles

Draw a small, flat curve across each tall finger, just above the palm.

  9. Step 9: Peach skin

Colour the palm, fingers, thumb and wrist peach.

  10. Step 10: Purple cuff

Colour the cuff purple. Go over your lines and your OK hand is done!
