How to Draw a Number 15
Draw a number 15 in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the tall 1.
Step 1: The tall 1
On the left draw a fat bubble 1: a tall stem with a short flag, standing on a fat bar.
Tip Bubble numbers are fat and rounded, like balloons.
Step 2: The 1's face
Down the stem of the 1, below the flag, draw 2 round eyes with black dots and a U smile.
Step 3: The 5's top
Next to the 1, draw a fat flat bar. From its left end, bring a short fat stem down.
Tip Make the bar as high as the top of the 1.
Step 4: The 5's belly
From the stem, draw a big fat round belly. Curl it under and finish with a round tail.
Tip The belly sits on the same floor as the 1.
Step 5: The 5's face
On the top bar of the 5 draw 2 round eyes and a U smile, just like the 1's.
Step 6: Sparkles
Above the number 15 draw 4 sparkle stars, 2 near the sides and 2 over the top.
Tip Keep the sparkles clear of the numbers.
Step 7: The floor
Draw a floor line under the 15 from left to right.
Step 8: A shadow
Draw a long flat oval shadow on the floor under both numbers. Rub out the floor line inside it.
Step 9: Yellow sparkles, grey shadow
Go over your lines, then colour the sparkles yellow and the shadow grey.
Step 10: Green 1
Colour the 1 green, going round the face and leaving the eyes white.
Tip Colour slowly round the eyes so they stay white.
Step 11: Purple 5
Colour the 5 purple, going round the face and leaving the eyes white. Your number 15 is done!
