How to Draw a Number 0 Donut
Draw a number 0 donut in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the big 0.
Step 1: The big 0
In the middle, draw the number 0 as a big fat oval ring, like a donut standing up.
Tip A fat 0 is a donut standing on its side!
Step 2: The hole
Inside it, draw a smaller oval for the hole, keeping a fat band all the way round.
Step 3: Two big eyes
On the top of the ring, draw 2 round eyes a little apart. Add a black dot in each.
Step 4: A smile
Start under the left eye. Draw a small U smile and stop under the right eye.
Step 5: Dripping icing
On each side of the ring, start on the outside edge. Draw a drippy line and stop at the hole.
Step 6: Sprinkles
On the icing, draw 8 short fat sticks tilted every which way. Keep them off the face.
Step 7: Sparkles on the left
On the left of the 0, draw 2 sparkle stars, one higher and one lower.
Step 8: Sparkles on the right
Draw 2 more sparkle stars on the right to match.
Step 9: Floor and shadow
Draw a floor line from left to right under the 0. Add a flat oval shadow on it.
Step 10: Sprinkles and icing
Go over your lines. Colour the sprinkles yellow, then the icing pink around them, leaving the eyes white.
Step 11: Tan donut
Colour the bottom of the ring, below the drippy lines, tan.
Step 12: Yellow sparkles
Colour the sparkles yellow and the shadow grey. Your number 0 is done!
