How to Draw Turkish Delight
Draw Turkish delight in 13 easy steps, about 10 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: a plate.
Step 1: A plate
In the middle of your paper draw a big flat oval for a plate, as wide as you can.
Step 2: The rim
Draw a second flat oval just inside the plate for the rim.
Step 3: The first cube
On the left of the plate draw a big soft square with rounded corners, as wide as 2 fingers.
Step 4: Its top and side
From the top corners draw 2 short slanting lines up right, joined across. Do the same from the right corners.
Tip Every slanted line leans the same way: that makes it look solid.
Step 5: A cube behind
Behind the first cube draw a second soft square, higher and to the right. Lift your pencil where it hides.
Step 6: Second top and side
Give the second cube its top and side the same way, lifting your pencil where they are hidden.
Step 7: A third cube
In front, on the right, draw a third soft square a little lower, hiding part of the second cube.
Step 8: Third top and side
Give the third cube its top and side the same way, slanted lines leaning the same way.
Step 9: The table
Draw a line under the plate from far left to far right, just touching its bottom.
Step 10: Cream tops
Go over your lines. Colour the top of each cube cream, for the icing sugar.
Step 11: Yellow cube
Colour the front and side of the middle cube yellow, leaving 2 tiny white sugar specks.
Step 12: Pink cubes
Colour the fronts and sides of the other 2 cubes pink, leaving tiny white sugar specks.
Step 13: Blue plate
Colour the plate sky blue around the cubes, and your Turkish delight is done!
