How to Draw a Name Tag
Draw a name tag in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the tag.
Step 1: The tag
In the middle of your paper draw a big wide rounded rectangle, nearly as wide as the page.
Step 2: The top band
A third of the way down, start on the left edge and draw a straight line across to the right.
Step 3: Two big eyes
On the white part of the tag draw 2 big egg eyes. Colour a big black dot in each.
Step 4: Smile and cheeks
Under the eyes draw a wide U smile from eye to eye, with a small oval cheek beside each end.
Step 5: HI!
In the band write HI! in big block letters, each line starting near the top and stopping near the bottom.
Step 6: The clip
On top of the tag, in the middle, draw a small rounded clip box, with a smaller box inside.
Step 7: Table and shadow
Draw a table line from side to side under the tag, with a thin curve below it for the shadow.
Step 8: Sparkles
Draw 2 little sparkles in the air above the tag, one near each top corner of the paper.
Step 9: Pink cheeks, cream tag
Colour the cheeks pink, then colour the bottom of the tag cream around them. Leave the eyes white.
Step 10: Grey clip and shadow
Colour the clip grey, leaving its little hole white, and colour the shadow grey.
Step 11: Red band
Colour the top band red, going around the letters and the clip. Your name tag is ready to wear!

Your finished drawing
