How to Draw a Monster Face
Draw a monster face in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: furry head.
Step 1: Furry head
Draw 1 big egg head, wider at the bottom, with even round fur bumps all the way round.
Tip Leave room above for the horns and a hand below for the feet.
Step 2: Two big eyes
Above the head's middle, draw 2 big round eyes, an eye apart, each with a black dot and shine.
Step 3: Round nose
Under the eyes, in the middle, draw a small round nose and colour it black.
Step 4: Toothy grin
Under the nose, draw a wide smile and a deeper curve below it: an open mouth. Hang 4 pointy teeth.
Step 5: Happy brows
Over each eye, draw a short curved eyebrow, a little gap above, like a happy arch.
Step 6: Two horns
On top of the head, draw 2 fat curved horns, a gap apart, curving up and out to a point.
Step 7: Round ears
On each side, by the eyebrows, draw a big round ear half into the head, with a small circle inside.
Step 8: Chubby arms
Below each ear, draw a chubby arm from the fur down to a mitten with a thumb, and back up.
Tip Make each arm fat by the head and thinner at the wrist.
Step 9: Feet and ground
Under the head, draw 2 round feet, each with 3 toe bumps on top. Draw the ground under them.
Step 10: Three spots
Draw 3 round spots: 1 high on the forehead and 2 low on one cheek.
Step 11: Spots, ears and mouth
Colour the spots purple. Colour the ear holes and the mouth pink, around the teeth.
Step 12: Green fur, tan horns
Colour the monster green around the spots, ear holes and mouth, and the horns tan. Leave the eyes white.
