How to Draw a Mole
Draw a mole in 13 easy steps, about 10 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: bun head.
Step 1: Bun head
Near the top of your paper draw a big soft bun for the head, wide at the cheeks.
Step 2: Long snout
Just under the middle of the head, draw a long snout pointing down, like an upside-down teardrop.
Step 3: Two eyes
On each side of the top of the snout draw a round eye with a black dot and a shine.
Step 4: Round nose
At the tip of the snout draw a round nose. From its bottom draw a short line down, then stop.
Step 5: Little smile
From the bottom of that line draw a little smile curving up each side, and stop.
Step 6: Small round body
Start under the left cheek. Draw a round cushion body down and round, up to the right cheek.
Tip No neck: the body tucks right under the cheeks.
Step 7: Huge shovel paws
Under the chin draw 2 shovel paws with 3 round bumps. From each side draw an arm down to them.
Step 8: Round tummy
Under the paws draw a wide oval for the tummy patch, tucked behind the paws.
Step 9: Feet on the ground
Draw a ground line just under the body. At each bottom corner draw a plump bun foot.
Step 10: Dirt mound
Start on the ground at the left. Draw a hill behind the mole, down to the ground at the right.
Step 11: Whiskers
From each side of the snout draw 3 thin whiskers out across the cheek, stopping before the edge.
Step 12: Pink snout and paws
Colour the snout, nose, paws and feet pink, and the tummy patch light grey.
Step 13: Grey fur, brown dirt
Colour the fur dark grey around the pink and the tummy, and the mound brown. Leave the eyes white.
