How to Draw a Mocktail
Draw a mocktail in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the glass.
Step 1: The glass
Start above the middle, on the left. Draw a tall glass down, across and up. Stop level with the start.
Tip Tall and a little narrower at the bottom.
Step 2: The rim
Join the top ends with a flat oval for the rim, going all the way round.
Step 3: An orange wheel
On the rim's right end draw an orange slice: a circle, a smaller one inside, and 3 crossing lines.
Tip It sits over the edge like a wheel.
Step 4: A paper umbrella
From the rim draw a thin stick leaning up left. Top it with a wide fan and 3 spoke lines.
Step 5: A straw
From inside the rim, right of middle, draw a 2-line straw leaning up right. Add 2 stripes across it.
Tip Each stripe is 2 short lines from side to side.
Step 6: A cherry
Hang a round cherry over the rim's front, its curly stem hooking inside the rim.
Step 7: Bubbles and shine
Draw 4 little bubble circles in the drink and a long thin shine down the left side.
Step 8: Foot and ground
Draw a flat oval foot under the glass, then a ground line under the foot from left to right.
Step 9: Orange drink
Go over your lines. Colour the drink orange and inside the rim yellow. Leave the shine and bubbles white.
Step 10: Red cherry, pink umbrella
Colour the cherry red and the umbrella pink.
Step 11: Orange wheel, red straw
Colour the orange wheel orange and the straw red, leaving its two stripes white.
Step 12: Grey foot
Colour the foot grey.
