How to Draw Medicine
Draw medicine in 13 easy steps, about 10 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the cap.
Step 1: The cap
Above the middle draw a wide cap, a thumb tall, with soft top corners and a flat bottom.
Step 2: The bottle
Under the cap draw the bottle: round shoulders, straight sides, a flat bottom, from one cap end to the other.
Step 3: Two big eyes
On the bottle, below the shoulders, draw 2 big egg eyes. Colour a black dot in each, with a shine.
Step 4: Smile and cheeks
Under the eyes draw a wide U smile from eye to eye. Add a small flat cheek beside each end.
Step 5: Cap ridges
Draw 3 short lines down the cap, one in the middle and one each side, for the grippy ridges.
Step 6: The medicine
Under the cheeks draw a wavy line across the bottle from side to side: the top of the medicine.
Step 7: The label
Under the wavy line, leaving a gap, draw a wide box with rounded corners for the label.
Step 8: A cross
In the middle of the label draw a plus made of 2 fat bars, like a first-aid cross.
Step 9: A shine line
Start just inside the left shoulder and draw a short thin line down. Stop well above the cheek.
Step 10: The table
Draw a long straight table line under the bottle, from well left to well right.
Step 11: Pink medicine and cheeks
Go over your lines. Colour the medicine and cheeks pink, around the label. Leave the eyes and glass white.
Step 12: Sky blue cap
Colour the cap sky blue.
Step 13: Red cross
Colour the cross red, and your medicine bottle is done!
