How to Draw a Longhorn
Draw a longhorn in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the head.
Step 1: The head
Near the top left of your paper draw a big round head with soft cheeks. Leave room on the right.
Tip A big head makes it cute.
Step 2: The face
Draw 2 big shiny eyes in the middle of the head. Add a wide nose, 2 nostrils and a smile.
Step 3: Horns and ears
Sweep 2 very long horns from the top of the head out to curvy points. Add 2 ears sticking out.
Step 4: The neck
Start behind the head and draw the neck sloping down to the back. Do the front from the chin.
Step 5: Body and ground
From the bottom of the neck draw a big bean body round to the chest. Add the ground below.
Step 6: Two legs
Start on the chest, draw a front leg down to a hoof on the ground. Add a bent back leg.
Step 7: The far legs
Start on the tummy behind the front leg and draw a thinner leg down to a hoof. Add another.
Step 8: The tail
Start at the top corner of the bum. Draw a thin tail hanging down and stop at a leaf tuft.
Step 9: Cream horns
Go over your lines. Colour the long horns cream and the nose peach.
Step 10: Tan longhorn
Colour the head, neck, ears, body, legs and tail tan, around the nose. Leave the eyes white.
Step 11: Hooves and tuft
Colour the tail tuft brown and the hooves slate grey. Your longhorn is done!
