How to Draw a Leaf Blower
Draw a leaf blower in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the round fan cover.
Step 1: The round fan cover
A little right of the middle of your paper draw a big circle, as big as your fist.
Tip The motor box and the tube hang off this circle to the left.
Step 2: The motor box
Left of the circle draw a chunky rounded box, tucked behind it. Rub out the lines inside the circle.
Step 3: 2 big eyes
On the circle draw 2 big egg eyes, one eye apart. Colour a big black dot in each.
Step 4: Smile and cheeks
Under the eyes draw a U smile from eye to eye. Add a small cheek beside each end.
Step 5: The handle
Start on the box top near its left end. Draw a long, low handle along it, stopping at the circle.
Step 6: The tube and nozzle
From the box's left side draw a straight tube sloping down left. It narrows, then flares at the mouth.
Tip Keep both sides straight. Only the mouth flares out, like a little trumpet.
Step 7: Tube rings
On the tube near the box draw 2 short lines straight across it.
Step 8: Leaves in the air
Draw 3 little leaves flying away in front of the nozzle, each a pointy oval with a line.
Step 9: Whoosh lines
In front of the nozzle draw 3 curved whoosh lines, one after another, to show the air blowing.
Step 10: Pink cheeks, orange blower
Colour the cheeks pink, then the box, fan cover and handle orange around the cheeks. Leave the eyes white.
Step 11: Grey tube
Colour the tube and its nozzle dark grey.
Step 12: Brown leaves
Colour the leaves brown and go over your lines. Your leaf blower is ready to blow!
