How to Draw a Kiwi Fruit
Draw a kiwi fruit in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the kiwi.
Step 1: The kiwi
Left of the middle draw a big smooth oval lying on its side, as big as your fist.
Step 2: A slice
Low on the right, in front of the kiwi, draw a round slice a bit smaller than your palm.
Tip The slice sits in front, so the kiwi hides behind it.
Step 3: The green flesh
Draw a second round a finger inside the slice for the edge of the flesh.
Step 4: The white middle
In the middle of the slice draw a small flat oval for the white centre.
Step 5: The seeds
Round the white middle draw 8 tiny teardrop seeds, points in, spaced evenly all the way round.
Step 6: A shine
Inside the left side of the kiwi draw a thin oval sliver for a shine, near the edge.
Step 7: The ground
Draw a ground line under the kiwi and the slice, just touching their bottoms, out past both sides.
Step 8: Cream middle
Colour the white middle of the slice cream.
Step 9: Green flesh
Colour the flesh of the slice green, around the cream middle and the seeds.
Step 10: Brown skin
Colour the kiwi and the thin skin round the slice brown. Leave the shine white.
Step 11: Black seeds
Colour the seeds black.
