How to Draw a Kid Goat
Draw a kid goat in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the head.
Step 1: The head
Near the top left of your paper, draw a big round head, a little taller than wide, with soft cheeks.
Step 2: Eyes and nose
Draw 2 big eyes in the middle. Add a triangle nose, a line from it down to a w smile.
Step 3: Horns and ears
Draw 2 tiny horn bumps on top. From each top corner, draw a floppy ear with a teardrop inside.
Step 4: The neck
Draw 2 neck lines: one from behind the head sloping down right, one from the chin down to the tummy.
Step 5: The body
From the neck, draw a big soft bean body: a long gentle back, a big round bottom, and the tummy.
Tip A bean, not a loaf: the bottom is rounder and higher than the chest.
Step 6: Two legs
Draw a ground line. Add a front leg under the chest and a back leg under the bottom, with hooves.
Tip The back leg bends at the back knee; hooves are little doorstops.
Step 7: The far legs
Draw a thinner far leg peeking out behind each near leg, with a hoof on the ground.
Tip Only draw the parts you can see. Four hooves on the ground line.
Step 8: The tail
On the top corner of the bottom draw a little leaf-shaped tail pointing up and back, like a small flag.
Step 9: White goat, grey horns
Go over your lines. Leave the goat white, and colour the horns light grey.
Tip Keep the eyes white.
Step 10: Nose, ears and hooves
Colour the nose and ear insides pink, and the hooves dark grey. Your kid goat is done!
